More like stars. It's a better book that its predecessor, Winter of Magic's Return, but it's still rather pallid.I admire it as a cautionary tale and as a concept, but the plotting and the writing itself -- especially the characterization (Arthur and Merlin, for being such iconic figures, are here thin as can be, while Heather is a dimwit) -- are decidedly amateurish, sometimes laughably so/5.
